The Jefferson Children’s Advocacy Center’s 5th annual Step Up for Children Gala || Saturday, April 16, 2016

“A Mother’s Love,” a 48 x 60 inch, Becky Fos original, oil on canvas, will be highlighted and available for purchase at the Jefferson CAC’s 25th anniversary and 5th annual Step Up for Children Gala.  The event, held during National Child Abuse Prevention Month, will take place at the National WWII Museum.  Please join us for a special night including Artist Becky Fos, Celebrity Emcees, a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle raffle drawing, live & silent auctions, and much, much more with all proceeds benefitting the Jefferson CAC and its most honorable cause – child abuse prevention!

The 38th Annual Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic 10k || Saturday, March 26, 2016

The Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic 10k road race is held in New Orleans on the Saturday before Easter Sunday each year.  The Classic is locally produced by a not-for-profit 5013c entity, the Crescent City Fitness Foundation, and is a great way to get in shape, while having fun!  Both runners and walkers of all abilities are invited to participate in the race.

NOMA | Art in Bloom presented by IBERIABANK || Wednesday, March 16th, 7 pm

We kindly invite you to join Artist & Auction Donor Becky Fos at one of the most anticipated springtime events in New Orleans, Art in Bloom, at the New Orleans Museum of Art, showcasing her oil painting “Tail of Red” as a silent auction item, and spectacular floral designs created by over 100 exhibitors that remain on display at NOMA for five days, from March 16-20. This year’s theme, Artful Entertaining, will bring together exhibitors from New Orleans and beyond to celebrate the art of entertaining. Proceeds from Art in Bloom benefit education projects and exhibitions at NOMA and community projects of The Garden Study Club of New Orleans.

Red Carpet Event || Saturday, July 25th, 2015

On July 25, 2015, Gallery B. Fos rolled out the red carpet for a Hollywood themed Summer Patron Party thrown to celebrate the Artist Becky Fos, her team of hard workers, and all the art lovers whose collective efforts helped to give Fos’ colorful paintings their new Magazine Street home.

Tenth Annual Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo || May 15-17, 2015

The Tenth Annual 2015 Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo Commemorative Poster by artist Becky Fos features an underwater view of a large-mouth bass in the forefront with the festival, historic bayou banks, and sunset in the background. The medium is oil paint on canvas by way of pallet knife providing a deep, thick, raised texture that enlivens the bright colors of the fish scales.

Dames de Perlage Exhibition || April 29th, 2015

Gallery B. Fos proudly featured a very special New Orleans Mardi Gras Krewe: Dames de Perlage.  Their mission is to showcase  and preserve the history and art of perlage through costumes, some requiring up to 200 hours of labor.  The image collage to the left demonstrates an example.  An original B. Fos oil on canvas painting of Professor Longhair served as the inspiration of the beaded image sewn onto Becky Fos’ corset.

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival || April 24-26th, 2015

Inspired by the spirit of Mahalia Jackson and the Eureka Brass Band back in 1970, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival continues to celebrate the culture of Louisiana with the combined fervor of a gospel hymn and the joy of a jazz parade.  Artist Becky Fos participated in the festival as an artist with her own booth at Congo Square African Market Place.

Grand Opening Patron Party ||  Saturday, April 11th, 2015

Gallery B. Fos opened its doors officially on February 27th, 2015.  In celebration of the new gallery space, the Artist Becky Fos and her incredibly supportive network of friends and family came together to make the Grand Opening Patron Party a very special event.

Second Annual King Cake Festival || January 25th, 2015

The Second Annual King Cake Festival was held Sunday, Jan. 25, in Champions Square at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m, featuring free entry, $10 tasting ticket packages, and the official King Cake Fest Poster by Becky Fos.
